REPORT: Google Continues to Push Progressive Agenda With Biased Search Results

Google is at it once again. According to the Media Research Center (MRC), their search results are noticeably biased toward the left, subtly attempting to influence voters as they search for information about the most important election in our lifetimes.

It is election day, and Google is still unrepentantly pushing leftist and legacy media on voters searching for the presidential race.

Throughout October, every time MRC researchers searched the terms “donald trump presidential race 2024” and “kamala harris presidential race 2024,” Google rigged the results to bury right-leaning media outlet articles. Election Day is no different.

Google admits that there is an issue when people type “where I can vote for Harris,” but they contend that it’s because “Harris” is also the name of a county. They’ve vowed to fix it:

Google has acknowledged an issue that users have been flagging in which searches for “Where can I vote for Harris” produce an interactive map tool to find polling places, despite not doing the same for inquiries of “Where can I vote for Trump.”

“The ‘where to vote’ panel is triggering for some specific searches [because] Harris is also the name of a county in [Texas],” Google said in a statement.

“Fix is coming,” the search giant said, adding: “Note very few people actually search for voting places this way.”

That may be true, but MRC says there are plenty of other instances of bias by the search giant:

Utilizing the media list provided by AllSides, which classifies publications based on their “right” to “left” bias, MRC Free Speech America found that while search giant Google did finally show one right-leaning media article on the first page of results in its “Top stories” section, it continues to bury right-leaning media outlets in its actual search results. In a study conducted Nov. 5, MRC researchers discovered Google burying the first U.S.-based right-leaning news search result for the Trump prompt on the twelfth page as the seventh result. Meanwhile, Google buried the first right-leaning news search result for the Harris prompt as the 10th result on the ninth page.

“Google has shown itself to be radically anti-American,” said MRC Free Speech America Director Michael Morris.

There Is Good Reason to Believe Google Deliberately Suppressed Information on the Trump Shooting

Google—like most of Big Tech, with the exception of X since Elon Musk bought it—has shown its bias plenty of times before. There’s no reason to think that they’ll change their behavior on this all-important election day.
