HOUSTON — The Houston Texans agreed to a new deal with standout wide receiver Nico Collins, according to multiple media reports.
The extension will keep Collins, 25, under team control for three seasons. Multiple media reports said the deal is worth $72.75 million with a max value of $75 million — $52 million is guaranteed.
Collins broke out in his third season with the Texans in 2023. He caught 80 passes on 109 targets for 1,297 yards and 8 touchdowns.
Houston drafted Collins in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Collins is from Birmingham, Alabama, but played his college football at Michigan, where he played in four seasons between 2017 and 2020.
