RNC Night Three – Make America Strong Again!

Day Three is over. It was another epic night for the Republican Party. The marque speakers were Donald Trump Jr., Lee Zeldin, Kellyanne Conway, TX. Gov. Greg Abbott, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, former acting ICE Dir. Tom Homan, Peter Navarro, and Sen. JD Vance.

As the party showcases a vision of peace, prosperity, and unity, the Democrats are imploding, with Biden diagnosed with COVID (again), along with what appears to be an epic political intervention on behalf of top Democrats to convince Biden to drop out of the race. As the GOP showed they’re the party of a vision and order, the Democrats are imploding.

The Everyday Americans speeches were again some of the most poignant, with families of the service members killed at Abbey Gate in Kabul back in 2021 explaining how this administration forgot about them.

Sen. Vance closed the night, played up his impoverished roots, showcasing his working-class background, and solidifying his position as someone who will carry the MAGA torch once Trump has left the scene.

The overall tone was ‘Americans welcome.’ If you want stability, prosperity, and peace, join the Republican Party.

GREAT SPEECH by Vance.

I’m sure the media will hate it. Stand by for unspooled takes

Good luck to the Democrats who try and will likely fail to spin this to look like a bad night for the RNC…

And with that, Vance signs off. A strong address to end the night.

That was a great line towards the end of a great speech!

Vance promises the forgotten communities he will be a vice president who “never forgets where he came from.”

Mhm, most likely just because they’re white…

It shows how out of touch the establishment media are about the people’s plight. They rather disparage them and label them “privileged,” though they’re far from it.

Another great story about the poor Americans of that Eastern Kentucky region, people the media still dare to claim they’re “privileged.”

“THAT is the source of America’s greatness!”

Great points about wanting America “to thrive for centuries to come,” and how it’s okay for us to disagree, even and including fellow Republicans at the RNC. Gives thanks to this Republican Party and the United States of America, as he’s talking about being laid to rest some day…

Ties it to the importance of electing Trump once more.

Another great story about the poor Americans of that Eastern Kentucky region, people the media still dare to claim they’re “privileged.”

“THAT is the source of America’s greatness!”

Just as Vance is talking about his and Trump’s concern for the American worker, the DNC sends out their statement on “JD Vance Backs Trump’s Anti-Worker Project 2025 Agenda to Put Wall Street Over Main Street.”

Does anyone still believe this narrative?!?

She’ll cackle her way through it.

The vice presidential debate between Vance and Kamala Harris will be entertaining, an Ivy League-educated lawyer vs. a word salad-spewing professional yapper.

Vance stresses that the Trump-Vance administration will protect American jobs and make sure products are American-made.

The vice presidential debate between Vance and Kamala Harris will be entertaining, an Ivy League-educated lawyer vs. a word salad-spewing professional yapper.

Vance actually shakes his head and rolls his eyes at the discouraging sentiments about the economy, and worsening factors by China, open borders, and fentanyl…

Vance also contrasts himself with Biden and Harris, especially since Biden entered politics before he was born!

Or at least LOL at them and love him for it.

Almost every American can relate to at least one of his stories about his upbringing.

Vance reminds how the movement is for grandparents like his Mamaw too, though, especially grandparents who are raising their grandkids they may not have intended to.

Almost every American can relate to at least one of his stories about his upbringing.

The crowd chants “JD’s mom!”

As Vance acknowledges that his mother is 10 years sober, Speaker Johnson, sitting beside her, has her stand to be acknowledged by the crowd.

The crowd that chants “JD’s mom!”

Vance even brings up having a 10 year sobriety celebration in the White House, which will officially take place in January!

Vance’s mom is here. The camera pans to her. Vance says she’s sober, and this race is about single mothers too who struggle to do right by their children.

Vance’s mom is here. The camera pans to her. Vance says she’s sober, and this race is about single mothers too who struggle to do right by their children.

Trump represents the country’s “last best hope,” Vance says. This moment in history is about working-class people proud of American craftsmanship, Vance pivots. It’s about the energy workers wanting to keep American energy independent.

Great crowd interaction, too!

“You guys are a great crowd,” Vance points out, as the crowd chants back “yes, we are!”

That Vance is mixing in hopeful sentiments as well as talking about how his town of “the forgotten America,” where people struggle due to bad policies of Biden and the Democrats is a good tactic.

Vance’s personal anecdote perfectly encapsulates a tale that’s ubiquitous in America’s heartland, one of children growing up in poverty who, fortunately, have role models like their grandparents to raise them right.

The crowd is certainly reacting to these stories about Mamaw, such as how she warned if he hung out with a local drug dealer again, she’d run the drug dealer over with her car.

“And she said, JD, no one will ever find out about it!” The crowd is chanting “Mamaw!”

Vance reminds his “most important American Dream was being a good husband and a good dad,” which is the accomplishment he’s most proud of.

He also mentioned how he served in the Marines. That reminder should put Kamala Harris and the Democrats to shame.

Vance gets mixed reactions from the crowd, especially the Michigan delegation, about how he went to THE Ohio State University.

“And she said, JD, no one will ever find out about it!” The crowd is chanting “Mamaw!”

“Mamaw!” chant breaks out.

Mamaw was a woman of deep Christian faith. “She also loved the F-word. She can make a sailor blush,” Vance jokes.

The name hillbillies give to their grandmas, Vance explains.

Vance’s talking now about how his life was impacted by Joe Biden’s bad policies, though he had his Mamaw in his life at least.

Vance’s talking now about how his life was impacted by Joe Biden’s bad policies, though he had his Mamaw in his life at least.

Somehow a real estate developer from New York was right on all of these political issues while Biden, a career politician, was wrong, Vance continues.

“Joe Must Go!” chant breaks out again.

“Never in my wildest imagination could I think I’d be standing up here tonight!” What a poignant point!

Trump claps in approval, a smile on his face.

Vance officially accepts the nomination to be vice president.

“Trump flew to Milwaukee and got back to work!” Vance says, noting how Trump literally dodged a bullet yet kept on going for the American people. If something of this magnitude happened to Biden, who has been defeated by a staircase, he’d shuffle off this mortal coil.

Joe Biden would have needed to take five vacations to recuperate before getting back to “work” if he was ever shot at.

But Trump? He got on a plane and flew to Milwaukee to stand for the American people!

Vance has talked for what, ~5 minutes? I feel like he’s already given a perfect description of Trump to sell to the American people, reminding us or perhaps enlightening some of us for the first time why he was such a great pick as VP!

AMEN TO THAT!

“He didn’t need politics but the country needed him,” Vance says of Trump.

Vance is now giving an excellent explanation of what Trump meant with “fight” and his fist pump to fight for our country. He did as he also “called for national unity,” which many of Trump;a critics fail to mention, I myself will add…

“He didn’t need politics but the country needed him,” Vance says of Trump.

I actually like living in Ohio that much more with him as our senator and likely next vice president!

As someone born and raised in Ohio, JD Vance’s working-class upbringing in the state to who he has become is inspirational.

His humility and humble beginnings are coming off STRONG here. The Ohio Democrats are trying to portray him as “an out-of-touch millionaire,” I kid you not… I really do not think it’s going to work.

As someone born and raised in Ohio, JD Vance’s working-class upbringing in the state to who he has become is inspirational.

“We gotta chill it with the Ohio love, we gotta win Michigan too!” LOL

It embodies him AND his “America First” policies very well!

I love Vance’s walkout song!

I love Vance’s walkout song!

Vance, who’s widely praised as the embodiment of the American Dream, is well known for his bestselling book, “Hillbilly Elegy,” a memoir about growing up poor in Appalachia and graduating from Yale Law School despite the odds stacked against him.

Finally, here is Trump’s vice presidential pick: Sen. JD Vance (R-OH)!

“I am grateful to all of you for the trust you’ve place in him, and our family,” she concludes.

“His goals in this role are the same he’s pursued in our family…to solve problems with an open mind. It’s safe to say that neither JD or I expected to find ourselves in this position,” she said, noting that JD is an example of the American Dream.

“When JD met me, he approached our differences with curiosity and enthusiasm,” she said. He became an “integral” part of her family, “a person I couldn’t live without.”

With that video and this speech so far, I feel like we’re getting a great message on JD’s “testament,” in addition to the “miracle” that is his story.

Usha’s parents are immigrants and raised her in California.

“The most determined person I knew…who wanted to build the kind of tight knit family he longed for as a child,” she said.

Usha and JD met in law school after he graduated from Ohio State.

“He was then, as now, the most interesting person I knew,” she said, adding that he endured traumas she couldn’t fathom.

Usha points out that her husband shared many details about his life in his book, Hillbilly Elegy, which was adapted into a movie.

That video on JD Vance is another video that may make me cry tonight! It really captures what a miracle it is that he has such a story. It includes how he served our country in the Marine Corps It also makes it even more SHAMEFUL that Vice President Kamala Harris dared to claim earlier over X that he wouldn’t be “loyal” to our country.

Usha Chilukuri Vance, wife of J.D. Vance, takes the stage.

Don Jr. mentioning his friendship with VP pick JD Vance… honestly, this is why I felt it was going to be Vance even before it was announced. They’re friends, they were announced as speakers on the same night, and also Don Jr. put out a video about Vance last Friday.

There’s yet another reference to Teddy Roosevelt! This is the one I was expecting to hear about the most, how Teddy was shot but kept fighting.

Don Jr.: “Teddy Roosevelt has a name in the arena: DONALD J. TRUMP!”

“There’s tough, and then there’s Trump tough… and America is TRUMP TOUGH!”

Don Jr. said as the crowd chanted, “TRUMP!”

NGL, I have expected Don Jr. to reference Teflon Don when he said “there’s tough, and then there’s Trump tough!”

“FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT!” the crowd chants.

“WE WILL FIGHT” Don Jr. declares.

He’s now connecting this excellent point to how his father was shot on Saturday but got back up and yelled “fight,” with a fist pump.

This is an EXCELLENT point from Don Jr. about how “this new, extreme Democratic Party” is not like the kind of party it used to be, it’s not one you can respect even if you disagree with the party. Honestly, I feel this way every day…

Compares that old America to an old photograph you share your grandchilren… “it’s like a distant memory.”

“Somewhere along the way we stumbled, we lost ourselves.”

Don Jr. reminds “we can’t just live on nostalgia” and that “our greatest days are yet to come!”

That old photograph isn’t the end of our story.

We want America back! Don Jr. remembers what the U.S. used to be like before extremist Democrats took over.

Don Jr. compares Biden’s policies to Putin’s playbook.

The crowd shouts “yes!” when Don Jr. asks if Obama is running the country.

The crowd seems to think it’s Barack Obama when Don Jr. gives a list of ideas as to who is actually running the country, since it’s not Biden! “The ghost of Cornpop” gets plenty of laughter!

“The entire world has been turned upside down”

Huge “NO” as Don Jr. asks “does this sound like any way to run a country?!”

This speech is funny, fiery, and also on point!

Don Jr.: “All Hell has broken lose in America thanks to the Biden Administration. Nothing is built, nothing is back, and nothing is better under Joe Biden.”

The crowd is shouting “liar” in response to all the lies Biden and his administration told.

Trump “showed America’s character, and my father’s spirit that could never be broken.” Donald Trump Jr. praises his father’s courage and ability to get up and fight for the U.S.

The entire arena chants “COREY! COREY! COREY!” in remembrance of Corey Comperatore, the father and husband who was murdered last weekend at the Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania,

The crowd is chanting “Corey!” the former firefighter chief who died on Saturday.

Very, very touching tribute to Corey Comperatore, the 50-year-old former firefighter chief. He died on Saturday shielding his wife and daughters at that Trump rally last Saturday.

Donald Trump Jr. remembers the father and hero who was killed at the Trump rally on Saturday.

She was well-spoken for someone so young. Brava!

“My grandpa has been put through Hell, and he’s still standing,” Kai said of Trump.

“I’m a Trump too,” Kai says, as the president smiles big. Trump looks extremely proud of his granddaughter.

These stories that Kai is telling about her grandfather makes Trump sound like your typical grandparent, he reminds me of my grandma and how my mom and stepdad interact with my daughters!

Kai shares sweet moments from her memories with Trump.

Trump looks on as his eldest granddaughter speaks highly of him.

Donald J. Trump Jr. is giving up the microphone…. his 17-year-old daughter, Kai Madison Trump, is taking the stage.

Kai Trump: “Grandpa Trump gives us candy and soda when our parents aren’t looking.”

We’re actually going to hear from Trump’s oldest granddaughter, Kai Madison Trump!

I thought Biden was the one with a cold

Um, I did not realize Don Jr.’s voice was this deep? Or he has a cold maybe??

Trump’s granddaughter is about to take the stage. One of the surprises at the RNC.

Um, I did not realize Don Jr.’s voice was this deep? Or he has a cold maybe??

Donald J. Trump Jr. is taking the stage.

I’m loving this instrumental of “I Won’t Back Down!”

The event hasn’t started yet
