SAN ANTONIO – Some businesses and attractions in the San Antonio area have announced closures on Monday and Tuesday due to the winter weather.
Temperatures have dipped into the mid-20s Monday morning, while wind chills are hovering in the teens and 20s.

Light precipitation is forecast to arrive in the area by dinnertime Monday. After sunset, light sprinkles could transition into light freezing rain or light sleet. Precipitation will peak between midnight and sunrise Tuesday. It’s during this timeframe where light sleet and freezing rain could turn to some light snow.

Below are the San Antonio businesses and attractions that have announced closures.

Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) outpatient operations and non-essential and administrative services will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21. Pharmacy and laboratory services will also open at 9 a.m. Inpatient health care delivery will not change. Patients with early appointments will be contacted to reschedule.

San Antonio Botanical Garden will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20, and Tuesday, Jan. 21, due to weather conditions. They plan to open at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22, weather permitting.

San Antonio Zoo and Zoo Train will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20. Starbucks will remain open from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Santikos Entertainment in San Antonio, Cibolo and New Braunfels will have last showtimes on Monday, Jan. 20 at 9 p.m. and first showtimes Tuesday, Jan. 21 at 2 p.m.

SeaWorld San Antonio will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20.
