San Antonio teen on Texas most wanted list in connection with deadly shooting

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A 17-year-old was added to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives List and is wanted for the alleged murder of a man that happened in July in San Antonio, the Texas Department of Public Safety said in a news release.

On July 7, around 9:40 p.m., the San Antonio Police Department responded to the Sonic Drive-In, 5510 Babcock Road, in San Antonio for a report of a shooting. According to SAPD, police and EMS found the victim, who was identified as Daniel Lacy Shrewsbury. He was the manager of Sonic-Drive In at this location.

Shrewsbury was shot in the chest and died on the scene, according to SAPD.

Adiah Namir Roberson was a customer at the drive-in restaurant and allegedly shot Shrewsbury after creating “a disturbance over counterfeit money she had passed and stealing money,” according to a news release from SAPD.
