>> Cold rain arrives later today in San Antonio

People in San Antonio will likely see rain on Thursday afternoon.

The Hill Country will likely be the first area to see precipitation. While temperatures are currently above freezing in these areas, any precipitation could drag down temperatures to freezing.

As the storm system nears, rain will fill in across the area, with a steadier rain setting up by lunchtime Thursday in San Antonio. The rain will also drag temperatures down in the city, but not below freezing. We’ll likely sit in the mid-30s, leaving us with a cold rain.

Expect rainy conditions to last through approximately midnight before we begin to dry out going into Friday morning. When all is said and done, San Antonio could see up to an inch of rainfall.
