FORECAST

STORMS TONIGHT

No doubt about it – it’s been a damp Wednesday with fog, drizzle, and mist persisting across the San Antonio area. Expect these damp conditions to continue this evening with temperatures holding steady, in the mid-60s.

More substantial rain and even a few storms develop overnight, with best chances along and north of the Highway 90 corridor. A few of the storms could be strong and noisy, especially across the Hill Country. This activity will gradually move east into early Thursday morning, likely making for a messy morning commute and drive to school. Make sure to give yourself some extra time on the roads, and take the rain gear with you!

Rainfall totals aren’t looking too impressive, however, with generally around 0.5″ expected in San Antonio. Localized higher totals could be found farther north, and the lowest of totals will be found farther south.

CLEARING SKIES THURSDAY AFTERNOON

Missing the sun? It’ll make a comeback by tomorrow afternoon as highs aim for the low-70s. Winds will be sustained out of the west-northwest at 5 to 15 miles per hour.

Thursday morning rain clears out by midday, then afternoon sunshine returns.

Dry air will move into the area and keep sunny conditions in place through the weekend. Chilly mornings (40s) followed by warm afternoons (70s) are expected Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

More updates to come! Until then, have a great evening and stay dry.

7 day forecast as of 1/29/25.
