Sen. Cornyn says he wants to replace Mitch McConnell as Senate Republican Leader; AG Paxton, Cornyn sling mud

Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) says he will run for Senate Republican leader to replace Mitch McConnell. Before he even announced his intent the mud-slinging began between he and Texas AG Ken Paxton, who doesn’t think the state’s senior senator is conservative enough.
