The Sex Pistols will be joined by Frank Carter on the 2025 tour.
DALLAS — Nearly 50 years after their iconic performance at Longhorn Ballroom and more than 20 since their last time traversing America, The Sex Pistols are going back on tour across the United States and Canada, kicking off right here in Dallas.
The Sex Pistols haven’t been on tour in the U.S. since 2003, but return to the road after recently releasing the three live albums from their legendary 1978 US tour, which included the Longhorn Ballroom show. The Sex Pistols will be joined by Frank Carter on the 2025 tour.

More tour dates will be announced, the band said in a press release. Tickets will be available starting at 10 a.m. Friday, April 4. Artist presale and other presale opportunities will be held from April 1 through April 3.
The Longhorn Ballroom, originally opened by legendary Western swing bandleader Bob Wills in 1950, reopened in spring 2023 after having undergone renovations following its acquisition by the same ownership that operated the Kessler Theater in Oak Cliff. The iconic Dallas venue kicked off its year-long 75th-anniversary celebration by showing off some recently unearthed images from the Sex Pistols’ 1978 show.
