PLANO, Texas — A man was killed in a shooting in a Plano neighborhood Friday afternoon, the Plano Police Department confirmed.
Around 4:30 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 3400 block of Hillridge Drive . When they arrived, they discovered a man suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body.
Plano Fire-Rescue took the victim to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead. His identity was not immediately released.
No arrests have been made and the details leading up to the shooting are unclear at this time.
Police said the Crimes Against Persons Unit is leading the investigation.
