The landing gear of a small plane failed during takeoff, according to the FAA.
ADDISON, Texas — A small plane carrying only the pilot slid off the runway at the Addison Airport Tuesday, officials said.
Around 6:57 p.m. Jan 14, a single-engine Piper PA-28 plane slid off the runway, according to the Addison Fire Department.
The plane’s landing gear collapsed during takeoff, according to the FAA. Only the pilot was on board and no injuries were reported, officials said.
The FAA is investigating the incident.
