Sold-out J.R. Carroll concert in Fort Worth | How to watch on WFAA+

Tickets are sold out to see the country music rising star, and your only way in is WFAA+.

FORT WORTH, Texas — Musician J.R. Carroll is stepping out from behind the keyboard and taking center stage in Cowtown Friday night as a solo artist.

J.R. Carroll is most known as one of the stellar musicians on stage with country star Zach Bryan. The duo have been friends for decades and have regularly championed Carroll’s artistry.

When he isn’t on tour with Bryan, Carroll is writing at home in Tulsa, Okla., or playing his own shows around the country.

Carroll is on tour following the release of his debut album, Dark Cloud, which dropped on streaming platforms in December 2024. The album follows the star through his native Oklahoma as, song-by-song, he reflects on the person he is today from the land’s red dirt. Carroll’s latest song release, “Raging in the Dark,” reflects an indie-rock influence.

On March 28, Carroll will perform at Tulips in Fort Worth at 7 p.m. Tickets are sold out, and your only way in is on WFAA+.

Gabriella Rose will open for J.R. Carroll with songs from her latest EP, Wait Til I Get My Money Up.
