SAN ANTONIO – A Southside High School student was arrested Monday after being found with a gun at school, Southside ISD Superintendent Rolando Ramirez confirmed.
In a letter to parents, Ramirez said the gun was not loaded.
“Southside ISD will not tolerate any threats or behavior of this kind and will prosecute this case to the fullest extent of the law,” the letter said.
Ramirez said the district has increased safety and security protocols. He urges anyone who knows of a threat or sees threatening behavior to report it in one of the following ways:
