FORECAST HIGHLIGHTS:
  • Spotty rain chances continue this Labor Day weekend with highs in the low-to-mid 90s
  • Don’t cancel your outdoor plans, but have a backup, indoor option should you need to dodge a few downpours
  • Hit-or-miss rain chances continue into next week
FORECAST:

Hope you’re having a great start to this holiday weekend!

While mainly hot and humid in San Antonio, isolated showers and storms have developed west of I-35 Saturday afternoon. We’ll keep just a 20% chance in the forecast this evening, generally through 9 p.m.

Spotty rain chances don’t stop there, though! Another 30% potential is in the forecast on Sunday, mainly in the afternoon hours with better chances once again along and west of the I-35 corridor. Other than that, highs will aim to reach for the mid-90s in San Antonio with heat indices approaching 100° in spots.

A few downpours & isolated storms will be possible in the afternoon, mainly west of I-35.

A slightly better chance for hit-or-miss downpours moves in on Labor Day, but it *won’t* be a washout or a continuous rain, so keep your outdoor plans! Just have a backup, option available should you need to briefly move things inside.

Spotty rain chances continue, but it won’t be a washout by any means.

Hit-or-miss rain chances continue through at least the first half of the upcoming week. Added cloud cover and rain-cooled air will help keep afternoon highs closer to 90° before we start to dry things out a bit into next weekend.

More updates to come! Until then — have a great and safe Labor Day weekend. ~ Mia
