Stabbing suspect in custody after argument turns violent, Dallas police say

DALLAS — A man is in custody after allegedly stabbing another person Friday night, leaving the victim in critical condition.

The Dallas Police Department (DPD) said 20-year-old David Padilla was charged with aggravated assault. 

On Dec. 20, officers responded to the 2400 block of Haskell Ave around 10 p.m. to reports of a stabbing. DPD said an argument led to a fight and an unidentified victim was stabbed.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition, police said.

The investigation is ongoing.
