UVALDE, Texas – State Sen. Roland Gutierrez on Wednesday will announce plans to file a bill in the next session of the Texas Legislature that will create a fund for the victims of the Uvalde school shooting.
Gutierrez will make the announcement at 2 p.m. at the Uvalde Town Square.

Gutierrez will be joined by some family members of the victims.
Gutierrez faces Republican Robert Garza in his race to be re-elected to District 19.
