There has been a wave of break-ins at homes of professional athletes in the past few months.
DALLAS — The home of Dallas Mavericks star guard was burglarized on Friday, according to longtime NBA correspondent Marc Stein, citing a police report.
Doncic’s business manager Lara Beth Seager told Stein “no one was home at the time and thankfully Luka and his family are safe.”
Doncic filed a police report and an investigation is ongoing, Stein reported.
WFAA has reached out to the Dallas Police Department for more information.
There have been many break-ins at athletes’ homes recently, most notably Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, as well as Milwaukee Bucks forward Bobby Portis Jr. Stein reported that the NBA sent out a memo to all of its players regarding the wave of break-ins.
We’ll update this story as we learn more information from police.
