STORM DAMAGE: Here’s where we’re seeing damage in North Texas

 

The Forney Fire Department confirmed damage at North Forney High School, while the National Weather Service confirmed damage in Lewisville.

DALLAS — Strong storms produced a tornado warning and left behind initial reports of damage in North Texas on Tuesday morning.

The Forney Fire Department confirmed damage at North Forney High School, while the National Weather Service confirmed damage in Lewisville.

The Lewisville damage included downed trees and power lines and one collapsed structure, according to the National Weather Service. There was also reports of an overturned 18-wheeler on Texas 121 near Josey Lane and multiple wrecks along Interstate 35E, both northbound and southbound.

Flooding was also a concern across North Texas on Tuesday morning. A flash flood warning was in effect for all of North Texas until at least 11 a.m. Tuesday.
