DALLAS — The day after Christmas brought heavy rain and reports of pea-sized hail to North Texas.
The storms brought near an inch to just over an inch of rain to much of the area Thursday morning before the rain shifted east early Thursday afternoon.
Both DFW Airport and Dallas Love Field were under ground stops and saw heavy delays as the storms moved through — all just after the Christmas holiday.
Some sent in photos and video to WFAA showing heavy rain and pea-sized hail primarily in the Plano, Addison and North Dallas area.
