Oncor said over 4,000 customers were affected by outages around 1 p.m. Tuesday.
DALLAS — As storms moved through North Texas on Christmas Eve, they knocked out power for thousands of Oncort customers.
By around 1 p.m., over 4,000 customers were affected by outages, according to the Oncor outage map.
Collin County reported the most outages Tuesday, 1,500 at 1 p.m., according to the map. By 2 p.m., just over 400 customers remained without power. The latest estimated restoration is 2 a.m. Dec 25, Oncor said.
In Dallas County, 1,5000 customers were without power around 2 p.m., the map states. The latest estimated restoration is currently unknown.
Customers in other counties were also without power Tuesday:
- Denton County – 123 customers affected, estimated time of restoration 4 pm today
- Parker County – 310 customers affected, estimated time of restoration currently unknown
- Tarrant County – 896 customers affected, estimated time of restoration currently unknown
