Student hospitalized after stabbing at East Dallas high school

 

Two sources confirmed to WFAA that a teenage student was stabbed by another student in a school bathroom.

DALLAS — A student at a Dallas high school has been hospitalized after another student stabbed them in a bathroom, sources say.

Two sources confirmed to WFAA that a teenage student was stabbed by another student in a bathroom at Woodrow Wilson High School in East Dallas. Dallas ISD confirmed that two students were involved in an altercation on campus, and that one student sustained “superficial cuts.” 

Sources told WFAA that a small pocket knife was used in the altercation.

The student who was stabbed was taken to Baylor University Medical Center, sources tell WFAA. Dallas ISD told WFAA that student is expected to make a full recovery.

Sources told WFAA the student who allegedly committed the stabbing is in custody at Dallas ISD headquarters.
