Suspect accused of intentionally striking man with vehicle amid alleged love triangle

SAN ANTONIO – A man has been arrested for allegedly intentionally striking another man with his vehicle last month, according to court documents.

Records with the Bexar County Jail show that Robert Hiller, 32, has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon following the incident on Aug. 10.

An arrest warrant affidavit states that Hiller and the victim, also 32, dated the same woman, and the victim tried to confront Hiller at the woman’s house.

Hiller drove toward the man and hit him, causing him to roll over the hood, the affidavit states.

A witness told police that Hiller drove out of the parking lot and returned, as if to strike the man a second time.

The victim had cuts to his left arm and leg, police said.

A warrant for Hiller’s arrest was issued that same day. Records show he was taken into custody on Wednesday night.

His bond is set at $65,000, records show.
