NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas — A Texas teen has been arrested by police in relation to a North Richland Hills shooting from early December that injured an 8-year-old girl.
North Richland Hills police said 18-year-old Ethan Nordyke was arrested on Dec. 20 and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Serious Bodily Injury for the Dec. 7 shooting.
The shooting happened at approximately 8 p.m. on Dec. 7 in the 6500 block of Jerrell Street.

On Dec. 8, WFAA’s William Joy spoke with the 8-year-old shooting victim.
“I didn’t hear nothing. I only – I didn’t hear like nothing until I realized that it was like gunshots,” Angie Resendiz said.
Police said several cars were hit, but no other people were hurt.
Nordyke’s bond was set at $200,000, according to police. He was taken to Tarrant County jail.
