Suspect arrested for breaking into a constable deputy’s vehicle in Houston

   

HOUSTON, Texas — A man was arrested after allegedly breaking into a constable deputy’s vehicle and engaging in a physical altercation with the officer. The incident occurred on January 16, 2025, in the 6700 block of FM 1960 West.

Deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to assist the off-duty deputy, who discovered two male suspects inside his personal vehicle. One suspect, identified as Christian Dow, was detained with the help of arriving units after resisting and fighting the deputy, causing minor injuries, according to a press release from Constable Mark Herman’s Office. The second suspect fled the scene, and a warrant for his arrest will be filed once he is identified.

“Christopher Dow was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Burglary to Motor Vehicle and Assault on a Police Officer. His bond was set at $1,100.00 out of County Court 8 and the 230th District Court,” stated Constable Mark Herman.
