Police said the woman was found dead Thursday afternoon in her apartment.
PLANO, Texas — A suspect is in custody after a Plano woman was found dead in her apartment on Thursday, police said.
Officers were called at about noon to the 300 block of Dogwood Place in response to a report of a dead person, police said. Upon arrival, they found the victim and pronounced her dead at the scene.
Injuries to the victim and evidence inside the apartment showed signs of foul play, police said.
A suspect was identified and arrested in connection with the death.
Police are withholding the names of the victim and the suspect until next of kin have been notified.
The ongoing investigation is being handled by the crimes against persons unit.
