Suspected burglars crash car into Fort Worth smoke shop on Christmas morning

 

Surveillance footage shows the car crash into the building, the suspects get out, and later, the car in flames.

FORT WORTH, Texas — Fort Worth police are searching for three suspects accused of burglarizing a smoke shop after crashing a car through the front of the store and setting it on fire. 

Surveillance footage of the incident shows the car crash into the front of the shop, Modern Smoke at 8552 S. Hulen St., and the suspects get out and enter the shop, and later shows the car in flames.

The three suspects were reportedly seen fleeing the building, police say. None of them are in custody.

In a statement, Modern Smoke said the incident caused structural damage to the building requiring the store to close for a couple days.
