We’re still several months away from college football season, but here’s something to plan ahead for!
FORT WORTH, Texas — TCU has released its full football schedule for the 2025-26 season, highlighted by a marquee Week 1 matchup against North Carolina and first-year head coach Bill Belichick.
The Horned Frogs open the season on Sept. 1 in Chapel Hill, facing the Tar Heels in a primetime Monday night game at 6:30 p.m. on ESPN. The game will mark Belichick’s debut as a college head coach, drawing national attention as TCU looks to spoil his opener.
Following this season-opener, the Horned Frogs will host Abilene Christian in their first home game of the year on Sept. 13. Then, TCU will host cross-town rival SMU in a battle for the Iron Skillet on Sept. 27.
Once non-conference play wraps up, TCU will enter Big-12 play in Tempe against the defending conference champion Arizona State Sun Devils, followed by Deion Sanders’ Colorado Buffaloes — without the highly-touted Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter.
The Horned Frogs will play six home and six road games during the season.
