Vanderbilt’s Black and Gold Spring Game scheduled for April 8
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Head coach Clark Lea and the Vanderbilt football team will open spring practice Tuesday. The 15 spring practices will culminate in the Black and Gold Spring game April 8.
The Commodores will hold five practices before Vanderbilt’s spring break begins March 10. Once classes resume, practice continues March 21 and runs through the April 8 spring game.
With the exception of the Black and Gold Spring Game, Vanderbilt’s spring practices are not open to the public.
The Black and Gold Spring Game will get underway at 5 p.m. on April 8. Due to Vandy United construction in and around FirstBank Stadium, the spring game will be held at the Vanderbilt Soccer and Lacrosse Complex.
Admission is free and more details for fans will be announced soon. In addition to the scrimmage, the Vanderbilt lacrosse team is scheduled to host James Madison at The Plex at 11 a.m. April 8
