Ted Cruz Suggests 3 Locations for Abbott and DeSantis to Deposit Illegal Aliens

As Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis send busloads of illegal aliens to strategically-selected Democrat strongholds, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) is climbing aboard the Abbott-DeSantis Express.

Cruz on Friday urged Abbott and DeSantis to bus illegals to three new liberal areas after the national news was dominated by Abbott’s shipment of roughly 100 illegals to the grounds of the U.S. Naval Observatory in D.C. in front of the residence of Kamala Harris — who continues to insist the border is “secure” — and Desantis sent 50 illegals to the smug Democrat enclave of Martha’s Vineyard, sending wealthy liberals into apoplectic fits of hysteria. The unwanted migrants were promptly shipped off the island within 24 hours.

Anyway, as Cruz sees it, Nantucket, Massachusetts; Palo Alto, California; and Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, should be added to the travel docket.

In April, Cruz specifically ripped Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, and Palo Alto, suggesting they might change their smug tune if illegal aliens showed up on their respective doorsteps.

If out-of-touch liberals think it’s great to have 2 million illegal immigrants streaming into this country, maybe they’d change their tune if places including Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, and Palo Alto were ports of entry.

On Wednesday, Cruz’s prediction came true on the Vineyard.

Incidentally, Cruz was serious about the “ports of entry” thing.

The fiery Texan introduced the Stop the SURGE Act last year to force Joe Biden — whose intentionally-created border crisis rages on — to establish 13 new ports of entry in Democrat-led communities across the country and mandate that all illegal aliens encountered at Border Patrol Sectors in Texas be transferred to these new ports for processing, as noted by Daily Wire on Saturday.

I am introducing this crucial legislation to alleviate the massive overload at the southern border by establishing new ports of entry in Democrat-led communities such as North Hero, Vermont, where Bernie Sanders spends his summers, and Martha’s Vineyard, where Democrat elites host their cocktail parties. If Washington Democrats had to endure even a fraction of the suffering South Texas families, farmers, ranchers, and small businesses have had to face, our nation’s immigration laws would be enforced, the wall would be built, and the Remain in Mexico policy would be re-implemented.

My Democrat colleagues have hosted hearing after hearing on amnesty and federalizing elections while completely ignoring the crisis at our southern border. From my time this year on the ground in Laredo and Del Rio, it is abundantly clear that President Biden has all but abandoned our border patrol agents and processing facilities, and left Texas communities to fend for themselves. President Biden and Democrats need to step up to defend our southern border and support our heroic Customs and Border Protection officials.

As we reported in early September, Border Patrol agents apprehended more than 52,000 “migrants” who illegally crossed the Southern Border into one Texas Sector in August alone, an increase over the record-setting number of apprehensions set in July. The operative word was apprehended, which obviously doesn’t include untold numbers of illegals who entered the country undetected.

In April 2021 we reported about Arizona border towns drained of their resources, as a direct result of the Biden Border Crisis.

And in July 2021, when Biden was up to his eyeballs in COVID mandate nonsense, the number of illegals testing positive at the border increased 900 percent in just two weeks.

The examples abound and the Biden Border Crisis song plays on.

Governors Abbott and DeSantis are fighting the battle for all of us by taking the border to the Democrats and exposing the hypocrisy for which they are infamous.

With a more-than-able assist from Senator Ted Cruz.
