For a moment, the attention at Charles Schwab Field was on Florida potentially challenging a call at second place, hoping to get an out call at second base. Things quickly shifted though, as the Gators’ bullpen caught the entire stadium’s eyes.
From the ESPN broadcast microphones, you could tell there was some yelling going on. Even the announcers mentioned the incident while attempting to break down the play. Two Texas A&M fans were seemingly yelling at Florida pitchers down in the bullpen, exchanging some harsh words.

Security had to get involved and pull the fans away from the bullpen. They were then ejected and gave a double thumbs up to the crowd, showing their allegiance to the Aggies. A strange situation with no real explanation, those observing from the press box said the moment was a heated one.
“Two Texas A&M fans were just ejected,” Nick de la Torre of On3’s Gators Online said via X. “They were down by the Florida dugout … Brandon Neely had to be held back. Not sure what was said but looked like it was heated down there.”

Not too often do you see players or coaches get involved with the fans. And if they do, a positive outcome is the result. Florida clearly got upset over what was said to them by the Texas A&M fans. Thankfully, security took care of business and the game can continue.

“Yeah, I think that’s huge,” slugger Jac Caglianone said. “At the beginning of the year, we just wanted to get back here. So having guys who have played here and kind of know what it’s like with the atmosphere and stuff, I think it’s just going to play in our favor.”
