Texas A&M athletic department’s nonprofit fundraising arm defeated several claims Thursday from more than 30 donors who were displaced from their seats and offered less desirable tickets during a renovation of Kyle Stadium.
The 12th Man Foundation had the claims tossed under the First Amendment because its fundraising efforts are “inextricably linked to a public university that is largely supported by public funds,” the Texas Court of Appeals, Ninth District said.
