BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) –
Texas A&M is currently preparing to host the 4-H Round up state conference. The event will have competitions and highlight scholarship recipients, educational workshops and networking with more than 3000 young people.
With a conference this size, it is the largest 4-H program in the country, according to 4-H Extension program specialist Callie Cline. She also said they will be giving away $2.7 million in scholarships and will be crowning state winners in many categories including lifestock care, to robotics, cooking and more. They will also have a college and career fair for attendees.
Registration to attend is available at Reed Arena during the event June 3 to June 6.
