Texas A&M’s 2026 recruiting class will look vastly different by this time next year, as Mike Elko and his staff have been communicating with a long list of prospects who visited campus this summer and will continue to make their way back to College Station in the coming months.
The offers keep coming, as 2026 4-star Edge Tren ton Henderson out of Pensacola, Florida, officially received an offer from Texas A&M last week, and the twitchy pass rusher is quickly becoming one of the top defensive prospects in the cycle.
Possessing impressive length attached to his 6-4 and 225-pound frame, Henderson consistently wreaks havoc vs. one-on-ones, utilizing bull rush techniques due to his natural strength and hand placement. At the same time, his potential at the next level is undeniable.
During his 2023 sophomore season, Henderson played like a proven veteran, recording 39 tackles, five tackles for loss, four sacks, and two forced fumbles. With two more high school seasons remaining, the sky is the limit for Henderson, who has received nearly 20 offers.
According to 247Sports, Henderson is ranked the 33rd prospect in the 2026 class, the 5th-ranked Edge prospect, and the 6th-ranked prospect in Florida.
