Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class is now flirting with a top-five finish, as Mike Elko and his productive coaching staff have been working hard this summer, securing 19 commitments, led by 4-star WR Kelshaun Johnson’s announcement on Tuesday afternoon.
While Elko deserves substantial credit, his coaching staff, including offensive coordinator Collin Klein, defensive coordinator Jay Bateman, and wide receiver coach Holmon Wiggins, are just a few names to consider when analyzing the prospects the class has landed while dominating the California 2025 cycle after landing three of the top five 2025 players in the state.
As the 12-team college football playoff structure takes effect this season, Elko knows that landing as much talent as possible, especially at quarterback and across the offensive and defensive line, will set up the program to consistently compete for a playoff spot and maybe even a National Championship.
