Texas cow attack sends two to hospital

LEON COUNTY, Texas (FOX 44) — Two people have been injured after reportedly being attacked by an “unhappy cow,” according to Leon County Emergency Management.

A portion of FM-831 was used as a landing zone for a medical helicopter. One person was taken to the hospital by ground transportation, and another, whose injuries LCEM said were more serious, had to be flown by air. One of these people has been confirmed as a rancher.

Med 71, Med 74, the Leon County Sheriff’s Office, Buffalo Fire and the Office of Emergency Management responded to the scene.

This is a developing story. FOX 44 News will have more information as it becomes available.
