McDonald’s is serving up a twist on its classic fries for the holiday season, courtesy of The Grinch.
WASHINGTON — The Grinch isn’t just stealing Christmas this year, he’s also unleashing some culinary mischief at McDonald’s.
The fast food giant and Dr. Seuss Enterprises have partnered up for a limited-edition holiday meal all about the Grinch. The meal is available nationwide at participating locations starting on Tuesday, Dec. 2.
What’s in the Grinch Meal at McDonald’s?
The limited-time holiday offer brings Dill Pickle McShaker Fries to the U.S. for the first time.
The “Grinch Salt” McShaker Fries come with a zesty dill pickle seasoning, called “Grinch Salt,” that customers can sprinkle in the bag to mix in with the fast food chain’s fries.
The Grinch Meal comes with the choice of a Big Mac or 10-piece Chicken McNuggets and a medium drink.
The meal also includes festive socks, available in four colors, and littered with Grinch messages about the holiday season. The socks feature images of the Grinch, his dog, Max, and Cindy Lou Who.

McDonald’s previously found success with the Grinch meal in 2024, when it was introduced in Canada and other international markets.

The Grinch Menu debuts in the UK
While McDonald’s in the U.S. is getting our first taste of The Grinch Meal, locations in the United Kingdom have a brand-new menu featuring The Grinch.
In addition to The Grinch Meal, UK locations are also offering a “Grinched Menu” with a Frozen Grinch Lemonade, a Chocolate Brownie McFlurry, a Mischief McFlurr and a Grumble Pie.
