We were told this was not a sweetheart deal, and some declared he should not have even been charged over these crimes. Defrauding the IRS of $200,000 and committing federal felonies with falsifying gun permits is suddenly no big deal. The level of mental gymnastics this required should warrant a bronze medal.
There was an amazing occurrence when two networks delivered controversial graphics on the same night – only one was seen as delivering a problem. Then, there was a spate of curious racial positions that underscore just how devalued the accusations have become.
