AUSTIN (KXAN) — KXAN is keeping track of which local school districts have called bond elections for May 2025.
We’ll update the map and list below as new elections are called by districts.
Local elections will take place on Saturday, May 3. The deadline to register to vote is Thursday, April 3.
Dripping Springs ISD
Voters in Dripping Springs ISD will decide on a two-proposition bond package, totaling $402.3 million.
- Prop A: $399,700,000 for construction of a new high school, improvements and renovations at Dripping Springs High School and Rooster Springs Elementary School, capital maintenance districtwide, seat belts for buses, replacement and growth of the bus and vehicle fleet, technology infrastructure and portables.
- Prop B: $2,600,000 for technology device updates for teachers, staff and students and interactive panels for classrooms.
Hays CISD
Voters in Hays CISD will decide on a five-proposition bond package, totaling almost $970 million. The package will not result in a tax rate increase.
- Prop A: $498,937,541 for general growth, safety and rehabilitation of facilities, including new buses and land for future school sites.
- Prop B: $396,063,095 for a new high school accommodating 2,700 students, including construction, furniture and equipment.
- Prop C: $6,096,071 for stadium construction at the new high school.
- Prop D: $51,354,633 for four multipurpose activity centers.
- Prop E: $16,200,000 for technology improvements and replacements.
Lockhart ISD
Voters in Lockhart ISD will decide on a two-proposition bond package, totaling $93.5 million. The package will not result in a tax rate increase.
- Prop A: $92,000,000 for construction of a new middle school.
- Prop B: $1,500,000 for future land purchases.
Marble Falls ISD
Voters in Marble Falls ISD will decide on a four-proposition bond package, totaling $172.2 million. The package will not result in a tax rate increase.
- Prop A: $131,435,000 for general facilities planning, including capacity, traffic improvements, safety and security, compliance with modern educational standards and upgraded to classrooms and extracurricular programs.
- Prop B: $2,200,000 for technology infrastructure improvements and the regular replacement of technology.
- Prop C: $12,515,000 for upgrades and improvements to athletic facilities, to support student athletes across all sports.
- Prop D: $26,050,000 for a new multipurpose facility designed to support athletic and all other extracurricular programs across the district.
Wimberley ISD
Voters in Wimberley ISD will decide on a four-proposition bond package, totaling $135 million.
- Prop A: $109,990,000 for general growth, safety and rehabilitation of facilities.
- Prop B: $6,050,000 for instructional technology improvements.
- Prop C: $5,730,000 for improvements to Texan Stadium.
- Prop D: $13,230,000 for a shaded multipurpose activity center.
