These roads will be impacted by the filming of ‘1923′ Paramount+ series in downtown SA

  

The filming of a Paramount+ show will impact several closures in downtown San Antonio in the coming weeks.

The closures are to facilitate filming for “1923,” a prequel of “Yellowstone.”

There will be varying closures along Broadway between Pecan and Houston Streets, including E. Travis St. & Peacock Alley from Jefferson to N. Alamo St. starting the week of September 16, 2024. Expect delays in this area during this window of time. Due to weather conditions or unforeseen occurrences closure dates may be adjusted.

Closures will impact the following areas:

September 6-15

  • Roads and sidewalks open
  • Street parking will be closed on Broadway between E. Pecan St. and E. Travis St.

September 19-25

  • Sidewalks open
  • Road Closure on Broadway from E. Pecan St. to E. Travis St. closed to vehicular traffic.
  • Cross streets open to traffic on September 19 & September 25, more details below.

September 20-24

  • Sidewalks open EXCEPT on September 23.
  • Road Closure on Broadway from E. Pecan St. to E. Houston St. closed to vehicular traffic.
  • Road Closure on E. Travis St. from Jefferson to N. Alamo St. closed to vehicular traffic.
  • Road Closure on Peacock Alley from Jefferson to N. Alamo St. closed to vehicular traffic.

September 23

  • FULL CLOSURE OF STREETS & SIDEWALKS on:

Broadway between E. Pecan St. and E. Houston St.

E. Travis St. from Jefferson to N. Alamo St.

Peacock Alley from Jefferson to N. Alamo St.

  • After filming is completed, sidewalks estimated to reopen by afternoon.
  • Businesses to remain open and accessible, EXCEPT for the morning of September 23. Production team has been in contact with area stakeholders to make accommodations.

By or before September 27, 2024

  • Filming closure area will be fully restored; all services will resume normal operations.
