Things to do in Dallas-Fort Worth this weekend: Main St. art, MargaritaCon, Munchies Fest, and much more!

DALLAS — Cheers to you for making it through another week!

No matter how much rain Mother Nature has in store for North Texas, you deserve a good time this weekend.

Like last weekend, DFW has a feast prepared for your eyes, soul, and/or stomach. So let’s dig in!

The Main St. Fort Worth Arts Festival will kick things off on Thursday, and it’ll be taking over downtown through the weekend.

You can plan out what art pieces you want to see before you get there. Check out the art gallery online for all of the works Main Street will have to offer.

You could also plan out the musicians you want to check out throughout the weekend.

Don’t forget about the culinary arts! There will be turkey legs, empanadas, fresh smoothies, domestic and imported beer, many margaritas and more.

Want to make your own art? You can do that too. People of all ages are welcome to join projects like sand art, a skyline mural, face painting, henna & glitter tattoos, and 3-D virtual reality.

Whether or not you celebrate 4/20 – and there are legal ways to celebrate in Texas – how can you say “no” to a food fest?

So what’s on the menu?

Get your munchies fix from 4:20 to 10 p.m. at Lofty Spaces.

Early Bird tickets are free, then other tickets are about $10.

Astral Tequila is hosting its first-ever month-long MargaritaCon celebration with bars across the country, including 11 in and around Dallas.

Each bar has a special Astral margarita. Each one they make will raise money to build homes in Jalisco, Mexico.

Seven of the participating North Texas bars are in Dallas. There are also ones in Irving, Lewisville, Frisco, and Plano.
