Dallas-based LERMA/ has a history of producing Super Bowl ads, including for He Gets Us and Avocados From Mexico.
DALLAS — For many Americans, Super Bowl ads are just as entertaining as the football, and one North Texas company plays a role in these commercials each year.
Dallas-based advertising agency LERMA/ is at the helm of a major Super Bowl ad campaign.
For the third year, the controversial “He Gets Us” campaign ran ads. He Gets Us, an LLC operated by North Carolina-based nonprofit “Come Near,” has collaborated with LERMA/ to produce several Super Bowl ads since 2022. Those ads have garnered millions of views on YouTube.
This year’s ad, titled “What is Greatness?” promoted Jesus’ ideals of greatness, using the same format as years past: a series of powerful images with simple text saying Jesus gets us.
LERMA/ has produced several Super Bowl ads with He Gets Us and the nonprofit Avocados From Mexico. Since 2015, LERMA/ has worked with Avocados From Mexico to create ads, many featuring people delivering bad news with the organization’s iconic jingle.
The Cowboys might not be playing in the Super Bowl this year, but at least Dallas is getting a hand in the festivities.
