FORECAST
Hope you’ve had a great weekend!
Changes are on our front doorstep as a pair of cold fronts arrive over the next few days. Here’s the latest:
Winds will continue to pickup Sunday night with gusts upwards of 40 miles per hour possible. Be sure to secure any loose lawn items or deflate any holiday decorations before heading to bed.
Rain chances gradually increase overnight and Monday morning. Spotty, light showers will be possible tonight, mainly after 8 p.m. A thin, broken line of rain and storms is expected to develop ahead of the first cold front, which will move west to east across the area Monday morning. The current timeframe to see this activity move through the San Antonio area is slated for 6 a.m. – 9 a.m., which would make for a messy morning commute, so please plan ahead!
Skies are expected to clear by Monday afternoon as drier air pumps in, which will help highs still reach for the unseasonably warm (but pleasant) upper 70s in San Antonio.
A chilly morning Tuesday (near 50°) will transition to another warm afternoon, before a second, stronger cold front arrives early Wednesday. No rain with this one, but noticeably cooler air surges into South Central Texas with lows in the 40s and highs in the 60s expected for the second half of the week and total sunshine.
We’ll continue to send out updates… until then, have a great evening!
