Traffic Alert: All northbound lanes of US 75 closed, officials say

 

US 75 was closed Wednesday morning near Caruth Haven Lane after a vehicle caught fire, killing two people, officials say.

DALLAS — Two people were killed in a fiery crash on Interstate 75 near Caruth Haven Lane in Dallas, officials said. 

Officers responded to reports of a crash around 3:57 a.m. Jan 1 in the northbound lanes of US 75 at Caruth Haven Lane in northern Dallas, according to TxDOT. 

One or two vehicles were involved in the crash and caught fire, according to Dallas Fire Rescue. Two people died on the scene, officials said. 

Officials did not immediately release the names of the victims. 

As of 7:48 a.m., all lanes remained closed, according to TxDOT.
