The Dallas Sheriff’s Office posted on X saying that three lanes of traffic on northbound Interstate 45 are currently closed, causing significant traffic.
DALLAS — Highway repair is slowing down traffic in the north bound lanes Interstate 45 near US-175 in Dallas, according to the Dallas Sheriff’s Office.
The office posted on X that they were notified of ongoing highway repairs and roadway damage around 1:40 p.m. Sunday. Highway cameras show that traffic is significantly slowed down in the north bound lanes.
The Texas Department of Transportation had three lanes shut down as of 1:40 p.m. they plan to have two lanes shut down until 5 a.m. Monday morning.
The Sherriff’s office is asking motorists to seek an alternate route.
