The training will involve air and ground mobility operations from Jan. 13-24, according to Dallas police.
DALLAS — For the next two weeks, there’s a decent chance you’ll hear loud noises or see helicopters across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
That’s because the U.S. Department of Defense is conducting a training exercise from Jan. 13-24, according to a news release from the Dallas Police Department.
The training will involve air and ground mobility operations, DPD said.
The release did not say exactly where these exercises would be taking place, only that they would happen across the metroplex.
“The Dallas Police 911 Communications Center is aware of the training and schedule if calls come in from concerned residents,” the department said in a news release.
DPD says this training exercise is not in response to any current events, but has been carefully planned to minimize the impact on the community.
