Triple digit days for now, but a few changes possible by late next week

WEATHER HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Hot end to the weekend Sunday with a high near 100°
  • Daily triple digits continue into the start of the upcoming week
  • Isolated rain chances, *slightly* cooler temperatures could return late next week

FORECAST DETAILS:

SAN ANTONIO – Hope you’ve had a great start to the weekend!

More copy and paste weather will continue in the near-term, with another high temperature near 100° expected again Sunday. We’ll start off the morning near 80° with a few early clouds, then plenty of sunshine takes over in the afternoon. Feels-like temperatures will likely approach the 105°-107° range for a few hours with winds generally out of the southeast at 5 to 15 mph.

Another triple digit day expected with plenty of afternoon sunshine.

The ‘heat high’ will still be the main controlling feature of our weather pattern into the upcoming week, so daily highs in the triple digits are currently expected to continue through at least Thursday.

That area of high pressure could move slightly west later in the week, though, leaving just enough room for a disturbance to move into South Texas. That change could be just enough to send isolated rain chances and *slightly* cooler temperatures (upper 90s) back into the forecast by next weekend.

Still some details to finetune, so check back in over the next few days. Until then — have a great rest of your weekend and stay cool! ~ Mia

7 day forecast as of 8/17/24.
