FORECAST HIGHLIGHTS:
-
Hot & sunny all week
-
Small chance for rain this weekend
FORECAST:
After 30 days, triple digits are likely to return tomorrow then stick around all week with full sunshine. The warmest we should get is 102° Thursday and Friday, but keep in mind the heat index could reach 105° each afternoon.
A slight shift in the upper-level “heat high” will open the door for slight rain chances Saturday and Sunday, but don’t expect much coverage. Otherwise, we’re looking dry.
TROPICS:
Tropical Storm Debby remains the headline because it could drop 10″-20″ of flooding rain along the Georgia and Carolina Coasts this week. This is because it’s slowing to a crawl and will drift over the Southeastern Coast of the U.S. through Friday.
There’s also a cluster of storms in the Caribbean that could turn into the tropical depression over the next five days, and if it develops, there’s a chance it could move into the Western Gulf of Mexico. We’ll keep you updated!
