Trump Burger is expanding to a new Texas city

A Texas restaurant will sling its Trump-stamped burgers in a new location.

Trump Burger, which pays unapologetic homage to President Donald Trump, will soon open in Texas’ largest city. The central Houston location will be the restaurant’s third.

With its signature burgers stamped with “TRUMP” and photographs of the president, the restaurant has drawn enthusiastic supporters of Trump since it opened in 2000 in Bellville, about 60 miles west of Houston. A second location opened on Election Day in Flatonia, some 70 miles southeast of Austin.

The restaurant, which also sells Trump-themed T-shirts and other memorabilia, is owned by Roland Beainy, a second-generation Lebanese-American and yes, a devoted Trump supporter.

Beainy was born in Boston and moved to Lebanon when he was 6. He and his family returned to the U.S. in 2019, according to a 2022 article by the Houston Chronicle . One year after moving to the U.S., he opened Trump Burger, in part because he thought Trump improved the economy.

In addition to burgers, the restaurant serves chicken sandwiches, Philly cheesesteaks, fries, onion rings and milkshakes. Beainy did not immediately respond to an email and Facebook message from The Dallas Morning News, but told the Chronicle that even non-Trump supporters have stopped by to eat.

“Food makes peace with everybody,” he said.

Trump has not publicly commented on Trump Burger, but he has made clear his love of fast food. On the campaign trail in 2024, he stopped at a McDonald’s in Pennsylvania, where he worked the fry station. He has previously said he is particular to Big Macs, Quarter Pounders and Filet-O-Fish.

“It’s great stuff,” he told host CNN host Anderson Cooper in 2016.

It’s not clear if the Houston Trump Burger will draw the same crowds as the others. In both Austin County, where Bellvile is located, and Fayette County, home to Flatonia, Trump won roughly 80% of the vote in 2024.

In Houston’s Harris County, former Vice President Kamala Harris won by a 5.5 margin.

Even more Trump Burgers could be on the way. Beainy told the Chronicle he is planning a fourth spot in the Houston suburb of Kemah. No word if Dallas/Fort Worth locations are in the works.
