Former U.S. President and current Republican nominee for 2024 Donald Trump is having to deal with another crisis today, this time in Virginia.
The campaign announced that its office in Ashburn, Virginia was burglarized, and the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crime.

Deputies said they arrived on the scene at 9 p.m. and a man was caught on camera wearing dark clothing, a dark cap and a backpack. The name and age of the suspect has not been released so far.
“It is rare to have the office of any political campaign or party broken in to,” Sheriff Mike Chapman said. “We are determined to identify the suspect, investigate why it happened, and determine what may have been taken as well as what may have been left behind.”
At this time, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Department has released images of the suspect.
Over the weekend, it was also revealed that the Trump campaign was hacked by a foreign entity.

According to Politico, on July 22, it started receiving emails from an AOL email account that called itself “Robert.” They received, that they admit, JD Vance’s vetting document and part of Marco Rubio’s vetting. The email warned, “I suggest you don’t be curious about where I got them from. Any answer to this question, will compromise me and also legally restricts you from publishing them.”
The Trump campaign is currently trying to right the ship after a rough couple of weeks, and events like these both show that there is a lot of work to be done and also that there are a lot of people thoroughly vested in him not winning.
