FORECAST
REST OF TODAY
It’s been a damp, chilly day with areas of drizzle. Drizzle will end this afternoon, and it’ll be a cold night with temperatures in the 40s after sunset. By sunrise tomorrow, it’ll be downright COLD!
TUESDAY
A light morning freeze is expected in the Hill Country for areas like Kerrville, Boerne, and Bulverde. In these areas, you may want to consider bringing in or covering up sensitive vegetation.
San Antonio will stay above freezing, with temperatures in the mid- to upper-30s.
We’ll quickly warm up under abundant sunshine. It’ll still be cool, though, with a high only near 60°.
WEDNESDAY
Similar to Tuesday except we’ll see increasing clouds in the afternoon.
COLD THURSDAY, RAIN POSSIBLE
The pattern will change again Wednesday night into early Thursday. A cold front will blow through by the early morning hours. It’ll arrive with gusty winds, falling temperatures, and some light rain. Temperatures will either fall or hold steady in the 40s.
A note about rain chances Thursday: don’t expect much. This will be the cold, light rain that only leaves behind a couple of tenths of an inch of rainfall. Not enough to help us with our drought conditions.
WEEKEND
Thankfully, we clear in time for a very nice weekend. We expect sun and comfortable temperatures.
